In 2015,  Medistar Corporation brought to fruition the PAM Rehabilitation Hospital of Clear Lake, previously known as PAM Bay Area Rehabilitation Hospital. Designed for Post Acute Medical, LLC, a prominent national operator headquartered in Pennsylvania, this 54,575-square-foot inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) stands as a cornerstone of healthcare excellence. Nestled within the thriving suburban Bay Area Houston community, it encompasses an array of essential features.

The facility accommodates thirty-three (33) beds, providing a nurturing environment for patients to embark on their path to recovery. Additionally, a specialized twelve (12) bed Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) unit acknowledges the unique requirements of individuals needing this specialized level of care. Committed to holistic well-being, the facility offers a comprehensive suite of inpatient and outpatient physical, speech, and occupational therapies, affirming its role as a hub of comprehensive care. Bolstering its capabilities, the hospital houses an emergency treatment unit, an imaging suite, and a fully-equipped pharmacy to facilitate efficient medical support. Complementing the clinical offerings, a chapel provides a serene space for reflection, while a dedicated dietary department ensures patients’ nutritional needs are thoughtfully addressed.
