Bay Area Regional Medical Center  |  Webster, TX

Medistar developed Bay Area Regional to serve families in the growing, vibrant Bay Area Houston community.  When it opened in July 2014 as the newest and most modern hospital in its service area, five of its nine floors were built-out to provide:

St. Luke’s Sugar Land Hospital and Medical Plaza  |  Sugar Land, TX

Completed in 2010, Medistar developed St. Luke's Sugar Land Hospital and Medical Plaza as a five-story, 220,000 square foot hospital.  The hospital is complemented by a five-story, 125,000 square foot medical office building featuring a linear accelerator to support MD Anderson Cancer Center, a major tenant in the MOB.

Cumberland Surgical Hospital  |  San Antonio, TX

Completed in 2013, Medistar developed this 82,000 square foot surgical hospital, which is operated by Post Acute Medical, LLC and complemented by an on-site medical office building. Features of the hospital include:

VibraLife of El Paso  |  El Paso, TX

Medistar completed development of VibraLife of El Paso, a 52,922 square foot integrated post-acute care facility operated by Vibra Healthcare, LLC. Located at 3421 Joe Battle Boulevard, the facility brings innovative and much-needed services to this vibrant comunity.

Highlights of the VibraLife facility program include:

Medistar Corporation developed PAM Bay Area Rehabilitation Hospital for Post Acute Medical, LLC, a leading national operator.  Completed in 2015, the 54,575 SF inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) serves the growing Bay Area Houston community and features:

Landmark Hospital of Savannah is strategically located in the heart of Savannah’s medical community to serve patients in the area’s largest medical centers. The three-level, 53,806 square foot long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital features a total of 50 single occupancy rooms. Completed in 2014, key features of this new long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital include:

Developed by Medistar on the campus of Cumberland Surgical HOspital on N. Loop 1604, this three-story, 60,000 square foot medical office building supports clinical and outpatient services. Important features include:

  • 33,000 square feet of the MOB was converted for use as a 26-bed long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital
  • The LTAC is operated by Post Acute Medical, LLC

Triumph Tomball Hospital  |  Tomball, TX

Developed by Medistar in 2006, this three-story, 77,476 square foot facility is located adjacent to the full-service Tomball Regional Medical Center.

Kindred Hospital  |  Webster, TX

Completed in 2005, Medistar originally developed this 92,422 square foot long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital for Triumph Healthcare.  Located in Webster's "Medical Center of the South", the project shares a 27 acre site with two other Medistar projects:  the 110,000 square foot medical office building at 250 Blossom Street and Bay Area Regional Medical Center.  Features of the LTAC include:

  • 100 Beds, including 14 ICU Beds
  • Telemetry Unit
  • Diagnostic Laboratory
  • Endoscopy Suites
  • Radiology, including CT Services
  • Pulmonary care, including ventilator management/weaning
  • Medical rehabilitation

Kerlan-Jobe Integrated Medical Plaza  |  Los Angeles, CA

Completed in 1997, Medistar developed this Class A integrated medical plaza for The Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic, a world leader in the diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic and sports medicine injuries and illnesses.  This project was the first to be designed and delivered under the State of California's rigorous Seismic Safety Code following the Oakland Bay Bridge collapse.

  • Primary Tenants:  Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic and HealthSouth
  • Approximately 86,000 SF
  • Outpatient Surgery Center

Medical Plaza 1  |  El Paso, TX

In conjunction with Medistar Corporation, The Hospitals of Providence (THOP) and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center collaborated on a multi-million-dollar teaching hospital and adjacent 110,000 square foot, Class A clinical office building at The Hospitals of Providence Transmountain Campus. Key features of the four-story Medical Plaza 1 include:

  • Suite sizes ranging from 1,500 square feet to an entire floor
  • 600 parking spaces dedicated to Medical Plaza 1
  • Anchored by Texas Tech Physicians of El Paso, featuring:
